Resolution / Answer
To configure your barcode scanner to Bluetooth SPP mode, follow these steps:
Step 1:
Scan the barcode. The device will enter Bluetooth mode.
Step 2:
Scan the barcode. The device switches to SPP mode.
Step 3:
Pair the scanner with your host device via Bluetooth settings.
- On your device, search for available Bluetooth devices
- Select the scanner name
- Complete the pairing process
Step 4:
Open your application and select the appropriate COM port (for Windows) or serial connection (for Android devices).
Note:
- SPP mode is typically required for specialized software, POS systems, or applications that rely on serial communication rather than keyboard input.
- Make sure your host device supports Bluetooth SPP.
