Resolution / Answer
- If your scanner cannot scan a QR code, first check whether your scanner supports QR code scanning; you can find this information in the scanner’s specifications.

After confirming that your barcode scanner supports QR code scanning, you must also verify whether the QR code requires special settings to be enabled.
For example, reverse QR codes, Aztec codes, and Data Matrix codes must be enabled in order to be scanned.
QR Code Inverted QR Codes Aztec Code Data Matrix - Is the barcode damaged? If the barcode is too damaged, it cannot be scanned.
- If the QR code settings have been disabled, you can choose to re-enable QR code scanning or reset the barcode scanner.
- Finally, check the barcode scanner's scanning window for any abnormalities.
