A suffix is a set of characters automatically added after the scanned barcode data, such as Enter, Tab, or other symbols. If your scanner is sending unwanted characters after each scan, you can disable or clear the suffix setting.
Applicable to: All wireless barcode scanners
Note:
- Common suffixes include Enter (CR/LF), Tab, or custom characters used to trigger actions in software.
- After removing the suffix, only the raw barcode data will be output.
- If you still notice extra input, check your application settings or keyboard input configuration.
