This article provides guidance on how to reduce the transmission speed when using a barcode scanner with wireless connections (2.4 GHz, Bluetooth, Cable).
Applicable to
All Wireless Barcode Scanners
Issue / Question
How to reduce data transfer speed?
Why are letters missing from the transmitted data?
Resolution / Answer
When the receiving device has insufficient processing capacity or the wireless connection is unstable, reducing the transmission rate can mitigate data loss and character garbling caused by excessively fast barcode scanner input. This enhances data reliability, compatibility, and integrity.
Bluetooth HID Mode Transmission Speed
Only in Bluetooth HID mode!

2.4 GHz Mode Transmission Speed
Entering long barcodes is prone to errors; you can adjust the rate to reduce the risk.
Only in 2.4 GHz mode!
