Barcode scanners can be configured to modify the case of transmitted characters to meet different system or application requirements. This feature allows you to output scanned data in normal format, all uppercase, all lowercase, or swap between upper and lower case.
Applicable to: All wireless barcode scanners
Note:
- This setting only affects alphabetic characters (A–Z).
- Numeric and special characters remain unchanged.
- The selected mode will apply to all subsequent scans until changed again.

Resolution / Answer
To change the character case output, scan the appropriate barcode below:
Normal
Output characters as originally encoded in the barcode
Upper/Lower Case Swap
Convert uppercase letters to lowercase and vice versa
All Upper Case
Convert all characters to uppercase
All Lower Case
Convert all characters to lowercase
