This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
The baud rate is the number of bits of data transmitted per second. The baud rate setting of the scan engine should match the data rate setting of the host device. If they do not match, the data may not be accessible to the host, or may be garbled.
