Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to intercept, hide, insert or replace the scanned code data content. It is usually used when only part of the barcode content needs to be uploaded, useless characters need to be removed, or the business system requires a fixed data format.
The decoded output data is intercepted in the middle and can be configured with a length of 1-65535 bytes. If the configured starting position exceeds the barcode data length, no data will be retained (not output). If the configured length exceeds the remaining barcode data length, all barcode data after the starting position will be retained.
For example, barcode data: 12345ABC, starting position 5, length 2, then output: AB. Starting position 5, length 5, then output: ABC. The starting position exceeds the barcode length and no data is retained (not output).
