This setting is used to intercept, hide, insert or replace the scanned code data content. It is usually used when only part of the barcode content needs to be uploaded, useless characters need to be removed, or the business system requires a fixed data format.
Configure the length of retained intermediate data, ranging from 1-65535 (0xFFFF). It is necessary to cooperate with the barcode generation tool to generate a custom-length configuration barcode in the format of 80829XXXX (XXXX is an uppercase hexadecimal value). For example, if you want to retain the data of 15 bytes from the starting position, the configuration barcode value is: 8082A000F.
Keep 1 byte of data after the starting position
Scan the following barcode to retain 1 byte of data after the starting position.
Keep 9999 bytes of data after the starting position
Scan the following barcode to retain the 9999 bytes of data after the starting position.
Keep 65535 bytes of data after the starting position
Scan the following barcode to retain 65535 bytes of data after the starting position.
