This setting is used to control the reading, verification, length or output rules of the specified barcode type. It is usually used when certain types of barcodes cannot be scanned, the misreading rate is high, or when it is necessary to limit the reading of barcodes in specific formats.
This parameter allows this parameter to be converted from UPC-E (zero suppression) decoded data to UPC-A format before transmission. After conversion, the data follows UPC-A format and is affected by UPC-A programming choices (eg: preamble, checksum).
Scanning does not convert UPC-E to UPC-A and transmits UPC-E (zero suppression) decoded data.
