Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
When this feature is enabled, the scan engine checks the integrity of all Code 39 encodings to verify that the data conforms to the specified check digit algorithm. Only Code 39 encodings containing a modulo 43 check digit can be decoded. This function can only be enabled if the Code 39 symbology containing the modulo 43 check digit can be decoded.
