Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
This feature allows the scan engine to check the integrity of all Code 11 encodings to verify that the data complies with the specified check digit algorithm. This will select the check digit mechanism for the decoded Code 11 barcode. Options include checking one parity digit, checking two parity digits or disabling the feature.
To enable this feature, scan the Code 11 barcode below that corresponds to the number of check digits encoded in the barcode.
Enable check code verification
Scan the following barcode to enable check code verification.
A check digit
Scan the following barcode, a check digit.
Two check digits
Scan the following barcode, two check digits.
