- How to adjust the decode mode parameters?
Resolution / Answer
This setting controls when the device starts scanning, how long it lasts, and how continuous scans are handled. It is usually adjusted when manual triggering, automatic sensing, avoiding repeated output or improving scanning response speed are required.
u __Level trigger mode: __Press and hold the trigger button to start code reading; after the code reading is successful or the trigger button is released, the code reading ends.
u __Induction mode: __turn on the machine and enter the code reading state, and stop reading the code until the code reading is successful or the time set by __one code reading timeout__ is reached. When a new barcode is presented, it will re-enter the code reading state. In this mode, __reread delay__ can be used to prevent the same barcode from being read multiple times. __Sensitivity__ can change the sensitivity of the sensing mode to light.
u __Continuous code decode mode: __It is always in code reading state after turning on. Pressing and releasing the button switches the scanner between reading and stopping. In this mode, __reread delay__ can be used to prevent the same barcode from being read multiple times. When the reading configuration barcode is switched to this mode, the code reading will stop for 3 seconds and then enter the continuous code reading state.
u__Pulse mode:__When the button is pressed, the scanner starts reading codes and stops reading codes until the code reading is successful or the set time of __one code reading timeout__ is reached. In this mode, a code reading timeout starts from the time the button is released.
u__Batch code decode mode:__When the button is pressed, the scanner starts reading codes and does not stop reading codes until the button is released. While the button is held down, if the code reading is successful, a beep will sound and the barcode information will be output. The scanner will continue to read the code as long as the button is not released. The same barcode can only be read and output once while the button is pressed.
