Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
u Off: The scanner communicates with the host according to the configuration of the communication interface.
u On: The scanner can automatically match the connected cable (only supports USB and RS232) and switch the communication method: if a USB cable is connected, it will switch to the USB communication mode; if a serial port cable is connected, the communication mode will be switched to the RS-232 serial port.
Note: Turning on or off communication cable adaptation requires restarting the device to take effect.
