This article introduces the use and configuration method of "Decoding LED Behavior". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
Select one of the following options for the serial host to control the decoding LED's relationship to low-power modes:
- **LED off then power down (default)**: The decoding LED remains on for about 1.5 seconds before the scanner can enter low power mode.
- **Turn off decoding LED on power down**: The decoding LED remains on until the scanner enters low power mode. Allows the scanner to enter a low-power mode as quickly as possible while still keeping the LED lit.
- **Disable Decode LED**: Turn off the decode LED completely.
