This article introduces the use and configuration method of "Visual Decoding Instruction". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
In demonstration mode, this function specifies the number of lighting flashes to indicate a successful decode. Disabled by default (no flashing).
To enable this feature: scan the "Decode Blinks" barcode to specify the number of blinks; then scan the "Decode Blink Duration" barcode, then scan the two-digit barcode (in 100 ms increments) from Appendix D "Numeric Barcodes" to specify the blink duration. The value range is 00-99 (i.e. 0-9.9 seconds). Modifying "Decoding Flash Duration" will also modify the setting value of "Different Symbol Decoding Interval".
To reset the duration to the value set in "Different Symbol Decoding Interval" (page 6-21), scan "Set Decode Blink Duration to Different Symbol Decoding Interval".
