This article introduces the setting method of "trigger mode", which is suitable for finding the corresponding configuration barcode and completing parameter adjustment.
Applicable to:
CS9501, E950, RS-9000BT, RS-9000PT, RF5520, RF5520U
Questions
- How to set trigger mode?
- Where is the trigger mode configuration barcode?
- How to adjust the trigger mode parameters?
Resolution / Answer
This setting controls when the device starts scanning, how long it lasts, and how continuous scans are handled. It is usually adjusted when manual triggering, automatic sensing, avoiding repeated output or improving scanning response speed are required.
- **Level**: The trigger event activates decoding processing until the trigger event ends, valid decoding occurs, or "Decoding Session Timeout" on page 6-20.
- **Presentation Mode**: When the decoder detects an object within the field of view, it is triggered and attempts to decode. Under normal illumination, the object detection distance remains unchanged. Applies to decoding mode only. The device does not enter low power mode in this mode.
- **Host**: The trigger signal is sent by the host command. The decoder treats the actual pull trigger action as a level trigger.
- **Auto Aim**: Turn on the aiming pattern when the decoder senses motion; activate the decoding process after pulling the trigger; automatically turn off the aiming pattern after 2 seconds of no movement.
- **Auto Aim with Illumination**: When the decoder senses motion, the aiming pattern and internal lighting LED are turned on; the decoding process is activated after the trigger is pulled; the aiming pattern and lighting LED are automatically turned off after 2 seconds of no movement.
