Resolution / Answer
This article introduces the purpose and configuration method of "Decoding Session Timeout". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
This parameter sets the maximum time the decoding process lasts in a scan attempt, and can be set from 0.5 to 9.9 seconds in steps of 0.1 seconds. Default is 9.9 seconds.
To set the decode session timeout, scan the barcode below, then scan the two-digit barcode corresponding to the desired duration from Appendix D, "Numeric Barcodes." Odd digits need to be filled with leading zeros. For example, to set 0.5 seconds, scan the barcode below and then scan 0 and 5. To correct errors or change your selection, scan "Cancel" on page D-2.
