This article introduces the purpose and configuration method of "PDF Prioritization". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
When enabled, decoding of 1D barcodes (Code 128 with a length of 8 to 25 characters) is delayed by the time specified by the PDF Prioritization Timeout. During this period, the decoder attempts to decode PDF417 symbols (such as a US driver's license), and if successful, only reports PDF417; if no PDF417 symbols are found, a 1D code is reported after a timeout. The QR code must still be within the device's field of view to be reported. This parameter does not affect the decoding of other symbologys.
