Resolution / Answer
This setting controls the device's sound, lighting, aiming, or image-related feedback. It is usually used when you need to reduce the beep sound, confirm the scanning status, improve lighting positioning, or adjust the image reading effect.
Choose the type of LED lighting you want to use:
- **Internal Lighting**: Use the engine's own lighting.
- **External Illumination**: The ILLUM_EN_OUT signal is continuously asserted during the decoding session and engine illumination is not used.
- **Internal and external lighting**: Use engine lighting and keep asserting the ILLUM_EN_OUT signal during the decoding session.
- **Internal Illumination Matching Engine (SE4500 only)**: Using engine illumination, the ILLUM_EN_OUT signal is pulsed every frame to match the engine illumination duration. NOTE This option is not supported on SE3300.
- **Internal and External Lighting Alternate (SE4500 only)**: Use engine lighting on alternating frames with the ILLUM_EN_OUT signal. NOTE This option is not supported on SE3300.
This parameter is effective for decoding only when "Decoding Illumination" on page 7-12 is enabled; this parameter is effective for image acquisition only when "Image Acquisition Illumination" on page 7-14 is enabled. Disabling any item will turn off all lighting in the corresponding mode, regardless of how this "LED Lighting" is set.
