Resolution / Answer
This setting controls the device's sound, lighting, aiming, or image-related feedback. It is usually used when you need to reduce the beep sound, confirm the scanning status, improve lighting positioning, or adjust the image reading effect.
Selecting "Enable image capture automatic exposure" allows the decoder to control the gain and exposure (integration) time to optimally capture images in photo mode.
Select "Disable automatic exposure for image acquisition" to manually adjust gain and exposure time (see "Fixed gain" and "Exposure time"). Motorola only recommends this option for advanced users in special scenarios where acquisition is difficult.
