Resolution / Answer
This setting controls the device's sound, lighting, aiming, or image-related feedback. It is usually used when you need to reduce the beep sound, confirm the scanning status, improve lighting positioning, or adjust the image reading effect.
Selecting "Enable Decoding Illumination" turns on illumination on every image acquisition to aid decoding. Select "Disable decoding lighting" to not use decoding lighting.
Enabling lighting usually results in better images. As the distance from the target increases, the effectiveness of the lighting decreases.
NOTE: It is not recommended to change this parameter when using demo mode (with or without dynamic enhancement).
