Resolution / Answer
This setting controls the device's sound, lighting, aiming, or image-related feedback. It is usually used when you need to reduce the beep sound, confirm the scanning status, improve lighting positioning, or adjust the image reading effect.
Selecting "Enable Image Acquisition Illumination" turns on illumination with every image acquisition. Disabling lighting means no lighting is used.
Enabling lighting usually results in better images. As the distance from the target increases, the effectiveness of the lighting decreases.
