This article introduces the use and configuration method of "Bit Pixel Depth (BPP)". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
Select the number of effective bits per pixel when acquiring an image. Choose 1 BPP to get a black and white image; choose 4 BPP to give each pixel one of 16 gray levels; choose 8 BPP to give each pixel one of 256 gray levels. This setting has no effect on JPEG files, which are always 8 BPP.
