This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
A stop bit at the end of each transmitted character marks the end of that character's transmission and prepares the receiving device to receive the next character in the serial data stream. Please select the number of stop digits (1 or 2) according to the settings of the receiving device.
