This setting is used to control the reading, verification, length or output rules of the specified barcode type. It is usually used when certain types of barcodes cannot be scanned, the misreading rate is high, or when it is necessary to limit the reading of barcodes in specific formats.
The preamble character is part of the UPC symbol, including country code and system characters. There are three options for transmitting the UPC-A preamble to the host: transmit system characters only, transmit system characters and country code ("0" for the United States), or transmit no preamble. Please select according to the host system.
