Resolution / Answer
This article introduces the use and configuration method of "Coupon Report". Usually refer to this article when you need to change the default behavior of the device, adapt to the business system, or find the corresponding configuration barcode.
Traditional coupon codes (legacy) consist of two barcode segments: UPC/EAN and Code 128. The new coupon code consists of a single GS1 DataBar Expanded barcode, and the new format supports higher purchase amounts (up to $999.99) and supports complex discount rules (such as secondary purchase conditions).
There is also a transitional coupon code that includes both UPC/EAN and GS1 DataBar Expanded to accommodate retailers who do not recognize the new coupon code as well as those who can handle the new coupon code.
Scan the barcode below and choose how to decode the coupon code:
- **Old Coupon Symbols**: Scan the old version to report UPC and Code 128; scan the transitional version to only report UPC; scan the new version without decoding.
- **New Coupon Symbols**: Scan the old version to report only UPC or Code 128; scan the transitional or new version to report GS1 DataBar Expanded.
- **Two formats (Both)**: Scan the old version to report UPC and Code 128; scan the transitional or new version to report GS1 DataBar Expanded.
