Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to control the reading, verification, length or output rules of the specified barcode type. It is usually used when certain types of barcodes cannot be scanned, the misreading rate is high, or when it is necessary to limit the reading of barcodes in specific formats.
This feature allows the decoder to accumulate data for multiple Code 39 symbols.
After selecting "Enable Code 39 cache", the decoder will temporarily store Code 39 symbols whose first character is a space for subsequent transmission (the first space will not be cached).
When a Code 39 symbol whose first character is not a space is decoded, the decoder transmits all cached data in first-in, first-out order, and then transmits the "trigger" symbol. See the detailed process below.
Select "Do not cache Code 39" to transmit all decoded Code 39 symbols immediately without storing them in the cache.
This feature only affects Code 39. If you choose to enable Code 39 caching, it is recommended to configure the decoder to only decode Code 39.
Enable Code 39 cache (01h)
Scan the following barcode to enable Code 39 caching (01h).

"Do not cache Code 39" cannot be selected when there is still data in the transfer buffer. The buffer can hold 200 bytes of information.
To disable Code 39 caching while there is still data in the buffer, first force the transfer cache (see "Transfer Buffering" on page 11-37) or clear the buffer.
