Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to configure the communication method or communication parameters between the device and the host. Usually when connecting to a computer, serial device, RS485/Modbus network or access control Wiegand system, you need to ensure that the parameters at both ends are consistent.
MSI symbols must contain a check digit and are always verified by the reader. The second check digit is optional. If the MSI code contains two check digits, scan "Two MSI Check Digits" to enable verification of the second check digit.
