This setting is used to control the additional characters and output mode at the end of the scanned data or during the output process. It is usually used when you need to automatically wrap lines, jump to the next input box, or adjust the data output format after scanning the QR code.
For GS1 DataBar Limited barcodes, the decoder provides four levels of decoding security. Security is inversely proportional to decoding aggressiveness. The higher the security level, the more conservative the scan will be, so please only select the necessary security level.
- **Level 1**: No white margins required. This level complies with the original GS1 standard, but scanning certain UPC symbols beginning with "9" or "7" may mistakenly identify them as DataBar Limited.
- **Level 2**: Automatic risk detection. Certain UPC symbols may still be misread as DataBar Limited when scanning. If a misread is detected, the decoder switches to Level 3 or Level 1.
- **Level 3**: Complies with GS1's new proposed standard requiring 5X trailing margin.
- Level 4**: Exceeds GS1 standard requirements; requires 5X front and rear margins.
