Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to control the reading, verification, length or output rules of the specified barcode type. It is usually used when certain types of barcodes cannot be scanned, the misreading rate is high, or when it is necessary to limit the reading of barcodes in specific formats.
Enable this parameter to transfer data for some MicroPDF417 symbols as Code 128. For this parameter to take effect, "AIM code ID character (01h)" on page 6-28 must be enabled first.
When Code 128 emulation is enabled, the following prefixes are used when transmitting corresponding MicroPDF417 symbols:
- First codeword 903-905: `]C1`
- First codeword 908 or 909: `]C2`
- First codeword 910 or 911: `]C0`
Use the following prefix when disabling Code 128 emulation:
- First codeword 903-905: `]L3`
- First codeword 908 or 909: `]L4`
- First codeword 910 or 911: `]L5`
Scan the barcode below to enable or disable Code 128 emulation.
Note: 906, 907, 912, 914, 915 and other associated MicroPDF codewords are not supported. Please use GS1 composite codes instead.
