Resolution / Answer
This setting is used to intercept, hide, insert, replace or format the scanned code data content. It is usually used when only part of the barcode content needs to be uploaded, useless characters need to be removed, or the business system requires a fixed data format.
__Step__ __1: __Read "Startup Settings";
__Step__ __2: __Read "Add Data Format";
[Add data format]
Scan the following barcode to [Add data format].
__Step__ __3:__Select data format
Read the data code "0" or "1" or "2" or "3", which represent the selected data format 0~3 respectively.
__Step__ __4:__Read the data codes "6" "9" "9" "9" in sequence
__Step__ __5:__Select the barcode serial number
The data format only works for the specified type of barcode. Refer to the Appendix - Barcode Serial Number Comparison Table. The barcode serial number consists of 3 data bits. If the set data format is valid for all barcode types, set the barcode serial number to __999__. For example, if only EAN-13 is processed, the data code "005" will be read.
__Step__ __6:__Set barcode data length
The data format only works for barcodes of the specified length. The data length consists of 4 data bits. For example, if the barcode data length is set to 32, the data code "0032" will be read. If the data format is valid for barcodes with all data lengths, then the barcode length is set to __9999__.
__Step__ __7:__Set data format editing command
Scan the data code to set the desired data editing command. For example, if the data editing command is F141, the data code "F141" will be read. For detailed commands, please refer to the data format editing command.
__Step__ __8:__Read the "Save" configuration barcode.
Add data format 0, which is only applicable to Code 128 with a data length of 10 bytes. Send the barcode data and add the character "A" at the end. The setting steps are as follows:
- Read "Startup Settings"
- Read "Add Data Format"
- Add data format 0 and read data code "0"
- Read the data code "6" "9" "9" "9"
- Code 128 barcode serial number 002, read data code "0" "0" "2"
- The barcode length is 10 bytes, read the data code "0" "0" "1" "0"
- After sending all the data, send "A", the corresponding data format compilation command is F141, read the data code "F" "1" "4" "1"
- Read "Save"
- Read "Exit Settings"
